Trying to figure this thing out...

Well... friends blog and I enjoy reading them... so I figured, why not me too. I don't get to talk to my friends or even family as much as I used to after working crazy hours, chasing the two beasts and getting through the day.
So the low down on us...

Right now I am back working and have been since the middle of March at the firm I was with in San Diego doing Compliance like I did just in the Sacramento area, more specifically Roseville. Its a quaint little town that is incredibly family oriented with a great church. In recent talks, we are even thinking of purchasing a home next year. We shall see.

Matthew, my eye candy of a husband, graduated from flight school the first week of April. he did an amazing job, I couldn't be more proud of him and he is ecstatic that he reached his goal and is now "loving the dream". When we moved to Roseville, he stayed home with the girls. More recently he has found himself on temporary orders with Counter Drug Task force... or something like that and is flying 25+ hours a week. With the glory comes the tough work and the draw backs are that he leaves Monday morning and returns on Friday late afternoon. Takes a toll on me, but it is worth every minute of hardship that he gets to fly. In the first years of our marriage he longed to go active duty and refrained to allow me to achieve my goals in the financial industry before we had kids. He is quite frankly the best most supportive husband there is.

The girls... well where do we start except for saying they keep us so incredibly busy...
Sydney is quite the 3 1/2 year old. She learns daily and comes home from their daycare talking about all sorts of stuff she learned that day with Mrs. Glenna. She loves her sister... which at times is so difficult well, because Jordyn doesn't share that intense love as Syd does. Jordyn is much more independent. Sydney is loving going to the pool at the gym and swims like a little fish. She loves going to the park and going to "bounce." Bounce is a place that has tons of inflatables and slides that she can just ware herself out, which makes life a ton easier for me.

Jordyn, oh my sweet Jordyn. I don't know what line we were in when we signed up for her, but man oh man she is the sweetest, easiest baby there is. She is so independent, loves to play by herself and is so happy. She smiles so much and get so much attention every where we go. She too loves the pool. While sitting in the shallow end, she inches her way into deeper water and splashes like crazy. We recently went to the doctor and found out that at 10.5 months she weighs 26 pounds... only 4.5 less than Sydney. All the more to love. She hasn't yet started to crawl, let alone walk, but daily she gets closer to pulling herself up. I don't think she will even bother with crawling, straight to walking for that child. She scoots around on her bottom and goes in circles. She is so cute!

So, as you can tell, all in all we are good. Good days and bad, but made some great decisions as to where we are and what we are doing. Truly following what the Lord has in store for our family and rest assured that as long as we have faith and continue to pray and believe in Him, He will provide all of the answers and direction we need.
