So much things have happened since my first blog... but first of all I can't even believe it is August already. Jordyn is going to be a whole year old in less than a month. Where did the time go??? Feels good to know I am not aging though.

So we bought a house! We were thinking we would look and really start looking intensely (is that a word?) this time next year, but we fell in love with a model we walked through and days later found out that it was a possibility. So we are officially under contract and hope to close on the 9th of September. I will take more pictures as soon as they put in the counter tops, floors and fixtures in the bathrooms. A small synopsis is... it is a 4 bed 3 full bath 2 story home in West Roseville. It's 1840 sq feet of greatness. It has a great room, a huge kitchen with an island and walls of cherry cabinets. Not to mention the desk nook in the kitchen. LOVE LOVE LOVE! The house has a bed and full bath downstairs and the rest is upstairs. It's absolutely perfect and the neighbors are young families as well. While there last week we met a guy in the coast guard who invited us to a block party this weekend... I think we are really going to like it there.

So with all that in mind, I have started to collect boxes and starting to go through things so we don't move them to the new house. We should have done that before coming to CA from AL, but at that point we didn't care cause we weren't packing us nor moving us... oh so different this time.

I have been having trouble sleeping cause my mind runs rampant with thoughts of does the loan person have everything she needs, did I cross all the t's and dot the i's (maybe that is the compliance part of me). Then the thoughts run to, what kind f curtains/window coverings do we want... to paint or to not paint. What color of paint? What kind of furnishings do we want? So many decisions to make. Come and visit we now have the space!

Matt is in Chico this week. He left on Friday and we went up to visit both him and the Clark's this last weekend. It was so much fun to get away yet only be an hour away from home. He will come home either Friday or Saturday this week so that's what I will be looking forward to. :)

I think that puts a nut shell on the last couple of weeks. I went to see the house today to see if I could take any updated pictures and walk through it to fall in love with it all over again and they were closed. :( So I will go back on Thursday and hope to share additional pictures.
